  I would not recommend Dr. Burton J. Wisotsky and the Omni Eye Center. Dr. Wisotsky is very condescending. I brought my father to him for a post surgical visit. In the office I wasn’t greeted or acknowledged by Dr Wisotsky. When the exam was over Dr Wisotsky was ready to leave without asking if we had any questions. When I prevented him from leaving with my question, Dr Wisotsky’s was very rude and spoke in medical terminology. He also said my dad wasn’t paying attention to the pre-op consultation or he would have known what to expect. While his lack of attention was extremely possible, saying so in this manner was extremely insulting. When we mentioned my Dad was troubled by his blurry vision, Dr Wisotsky insisted all was well because of scores he read and again more medical jargon. This was neither comforting nor helpful for a man who had eye surgery and was still experiencing discomfort.
  The Omni Eye Center is decorated nicely but the staff is lacking. After surgery my dad had a large bandage covering his eye. When he was called in for his post-op appointment the staff told him to take off his bandage and left the room. This made him nervous since he didn’t know if his feeling had returned and what he would see under the bandage. Of all these circumstances, however, I believe the worst is that neither Dr Wisotsky not the staff provided written instruction on how to adjust the amount and frequency of his eye drops. They just told him and expected him to remember which is comical since they had previously accused him of not paying close enough attention.
  In all, I am disappointed with the care my family received. The assembly line surgical center and obnoxious, condescending attitude of the surgeon is just not worth it.
